Warmth

Before: We were worried that this dead tree would fall on the house or a car passing by. Some guy came along today and said he'd cut it down for a lower price than he did this summer.
So, we did it.

After
We will stay warm this winter, thanks to this tree!

Oh yeah--what is it they say--"A wood fire warms you twice; once when you burn it, and once when you chop the wood."

That's some pile of firewood! Isn't it nice how worry about one thing provides comfort in another way? :)

Lookslike a nice bundle of wood! Have you started burning it yet, or does it have to dry for a long time first?

Nice shots. I like how your pictures and journaling have a The Giving Tree sort of feel to them. Very cool.
